only Letting Agent in South Yorkshire who are members of the
3 bodies who oversee good practice in Lettings, namely, The
National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA), The National Approved

TWH (The Whole Hogg) Ltd were personally recommended
to Mike Jolly Estates for their impressive track record in providing
Human Resources Consultancy and assisted Mike Jolly in overcoming
a potentially disruptive personnel issue with minimum disruption
to the Company.
Following on from this initial period of consultation, Mike
Jolly identified a requirement to introduce a Performance Appraisal
Programme. This project was undertaken by TWH
under the guidance of TWH Director Fiona Jagger.
“From my previous experience in introducing similar schemes
into other organisations, I was able to assure all the Employees
that the scheme would be beneficial to both Company and Employee,”
said Fiona. “ The timescales were tight but we were able
to complete the Performance Reviews, including the provision
of full training for all staff, both those performing Appraisals
and all 15 Employees having an Appraisal, inside a 6-8 week
period. I am confident that we have laid the foundations of
an Appraisal Programme which can now be administered by Mike
Jolly’s staff and will be utilised in the future to monitor
and reward Employee performance.”
A further benefit of this project was that Mike Jolly Estates
were able to receive a 40% grant towards the cost of the project
via the Action for Employment Scheme (A4E). TWH
will be pleased to provide further information and contact details
to obtain this funding.
TWH have continued to provide further Human
Resources Consultancy to Mike Jolly Estates through the introduction
of Company Handbooks and Employment Contracts to ensure that
the Company meet their legal obligations in this area. Following
on from this, TWH also provide HR advice and
guidance on an ad-hoc basis to Mike Jolly Estates, thus avoiding
the need for them to recruit a full-time HR Officer.
