The Curtain Company contacted TWH (The Whole Hogg)
Ltd with a specific requirement to improve the use of IT within
the Company and also to provide specific PC training to meet
The Curtain Company needs. Following the initial call,
TWH’s Technical Services visited the
Company site and resolved the problem they were having accessing
the Internet.
TWH then analysed the working practices of
The Curtain Company and recommended the introduction of hand-held
PCs for each of the Company’s Sales Representatives and
Fitters, in conjunction with the use of Microsoft Outlook to
control and administer their appointments. The office-based
staff are now able to schedule the appointments and inform the
non office based staff electronically – as opposed to
using a very time-consuming paper-based system.
